Our Philosophy, Our Vision
Our desire is to be a restorative community built on biblical principles and working together through our core values where people are safe, secure and significant. A place which sees trauma survivors established on a journey of post traumatic growth. Our motivation is the love of God in Christ for wholeness and restoration through community relationships.
Our Mission
Our Journey
We offer a unique approach to post-traumatic growth and address a wide range of trauma causes. Originally, when we started our work in 2014, we were called 'Walking with Survivors'. At that moment, we understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently. We do not look back into PTSD which many find damaging, but forward into PTG building hope, growth and a productive future.
Our Team
RESTORE has a core team and a group of volunteers. Together we have a range of things to offer and are expanding. We share a vision to reach as many survivors in as many different contexts as is possible and to hand the baton on to others.
Robert brings pastoral and teaching experience to the team. He and his wife Sue have 5 children and 8 grand children. Robert loves writing, walking, painting and listening to classical music.

We are so blessed to have Jo Ann on the team. Her wisdom, enthusiasm and prayerfulness are invaluable. Ultimately we hope to establish a women's refuge which Jo Ann is keen to do. She has been a member of YWAM for 14 years. Her hobbies include animal documentaries and being in nature. Steve and Jo Ann are married and have a daughter.
Steve brings a calm and peace to all we do. His experience in counselling is invaluable when we work as a team or when he leads a group. He has been with YWAM for 16 years. In his spare time he loves walking, reading and travelling. He also runs a counselling service called Restore. If you are looking for counselling or counselling training contact him through his email.
